Compliance & AML Directives
EFFECTIVE REVISION: April 10, 2026 • PROTOCOL ID: CPT-AML-2026
CryptoPlexTrade is strictly committed to preventing the use of its digital asset exchange infrastructure for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanction evasion, and illicit financial activities. This policy outlines our operational mechanisms to maintain complete alignment with international financial guidelines and Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards.
1. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
We execute multi-tiered Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications before granting transactional capabilities:
- Identity Verification: Collection and automated algorithmic verification of government-issued passports, national identity cards, or driver licenses.
- Proof of Address: Verification of official utility bills, bank statements, or municipal notices issued within the last 90 days.
- Sanctions & PEP Screening: Automated screening against global sanctions rosters, including OFAC, UN, EU, and UK sanctions registers, as well as Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) databases.
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): High-volume trading participants and institutional entities are subject to mandatory source-of-wealth and source-of-funds verification.
2. Transaction Monitoring
Our risk engineering infrastructure operates 24/7 automated transaction monitoring across all blockchain networks and fiat settlement channels:
- Real-time heuristics detecting structuring, smurfing, and sudden anomalous volume spikes.
- Blockchain analytics identifying transaction hops originating from high-risk mixers, darknet marketplaces, or sanctioned wallet clusters.
- Automated risk scoring triggering immediate compliance review and account restrictions when thresholds are breached.
3. Regulatory Reporting
CryptoPlexTrade complies with statutory obligations to submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) to appropriate Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) and designated regulatory authorities. Under statutory "tipping-off" prohibitions, our staff is legally barred from disclosing that a suspicious activity report has been lodged.
4. Prohibited Jurisdictions & Acts
Users are strictly prohibited from utilizing CryptoPlexTrade services for any illicit purpose, including:
- Transacting on behalf of individuals or entities subject to international sanctions regimes.
- Employing obfuscation tools, mixers, privacy chains, or tumbler contracts to conceal origin of funds.
- Operating accounts using fictitious, synthetic, or stolen identity credentials.
- Accessing services from embargoed countries or sanctioned geographic territories.
5. Compliance Governance
CryptoPlexTrade designates a qualified Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) responsible for overseeing adherence to this AML program, managing internal audits, and training operational staff. For compliance audits or regulatory inquiries, submit an official inquiry via our secure client Help Desk.
